Kasuali
24 Kms from the guest house, Kasauli lies at the height of 1927 metres amidst the pines, deodars and oaks. Kasauli is a quaint little town that seems to exist in a time wrap in an era that reminds of the 19th century. Its colonial ambience is reinforced by cobbled paths, quaint shops, gabled houses with charming facades and scores of neat little gardens and orchards. Hotels in Kasauli are aplenty but they are usually packed in season desoite being expensive. Kasauli is surrounded by a mixed forest of chir-pine, Himalyan oak and huge horse-chestnuts. Its narrow roadslither up and down the hillsides and offer some magnificent vistas. You can get vantage views from Monkey Point barely 4 k.m. from the bus stand.

Chail

summer capital of the flamboyant Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. At 2250 metres it has the world's highest cricket pitch and a polo ground, the old majestic Chail Palace; now a Himachal Tourism hotel.

Mohan Meakins Brewery


Solan is recognized for the India's oldest brewery- Mohan Meakin's and its popular products- Old Monk XXX RUM, Solan No. 1 whiskey and Golden Eagle beer.

From Lion Beer, Golden Eagle, Solan No. 1 and Old Monk to Breakfast Cereals, Mineral Water and Fruit Juices, this London Stock Exchange listed company has ruled the industry for more than a century and a half. The distillery that was established in Solan in 1835 still keeps alive the heritage, the class and the architecture of that era.  




Mohan Shakti Sthal

Shakti Sthal is a National Heritage Park located on NH 22. 9 Kms from the Atithi Kunj Home Stay facility,  Shakti Kunj is situated in the Ashwani Khud, the road for which diverts from Salogra.
Brigadier ( Retd ) Dr. Kapil Mohan Padamshree V.S.M PhD is bringing up this heritage park at Shakti Sthal. The heritage park will be known as Shakti Peeth He is spending millions of dollars on this project.

Railway Station Barog
An easy walk along the pine woods; trekking to Barog Railway Station, a museum by itself along the narrow gauge railway track can be so much fun, you would have never known! Just 2 kms from the guest house, the walk takes barely 30 minutes to reach the heritage railway station, also known for the longest railway tunnel on the Kalka-Shimla Railway Track. Surrounded by pine forests, it presents a fascinating view of the Churdhar Peak, which poetically translates into 'Mountain of the Silver Bangle'.



·          Karol Hill(karol ka tibba)

The historic place is known as the pandavas lived here during 
their agyatvas period. 2 hours trek from the Atithi Kunj guest
 house takes you to this wonderful place and ideal visit for
 nature lovers.




·          Nepali Qila
   This is a 300 years old castle that makes a suitable trekking
 trail for tourists. The hill-top bestows a breathtaking view 
   of Shimla, Kasauli and Chail.

Enjoy your picnic amongst cool waters of Giri River 20 Kms from Solan.
